QUALIFICATION FOR VCB MEMBERSHIP

Membership in Volunteer Christian Builders is available to residents of the continental United        States. Many of our organizations are requiring background checks on all member Individuals who participate on a project at their organization. Individuals who join Volunteer Christian Builders Team are agreeing to do their best to adhere to the following basic qualifications for being a member.

  • Have a desire to promote the Lord Jesus Christ and His love.

  • Be able to spend some time away from home.

  • Be self-supporting and have adequate accident and hospitalization coverage.

  • Be willing to donate your time and labor to each project on which you participate, expecting nothing nor accepting anything in return.

  • Be willing to pay your own expenses to and from the project.

  • Be willing to agree to a background check, when required, by the organization for which a project is being conducted.

  • Be willing to accept direction from the Crew Chief once you arrive.

  • Adhere to a lifestyle, both at home and while on a VCB project, that demonstrates Christian attitudes and actions as described in Matthew 22:36-39, John 13:35, Galatians 5:22-23 and Ephesians 5:1.

  • Agree that personal information relevant to other individuals within the organization will not be used for commercial purposes.
